Wind and Solar Power Production Forecast
How much electricity will a certain wind or solar plant will produce tomorrow?
Tendency towards engaging more Renewable Energy (RE) resources are increasing. While the conventional power plants have certain production plans, RE plants have fluctuating production patterns. This makes is considerably hard to forecast the production.
Dependency on Weather
Forecasting the production of renewable energy plants is crucial in order to main a healthy grid and ensure profitable operations. RE power production heavily relies on weather conditions. However casual weather forecasts barely give enough information about micro-climatic conditions.
Superimposed Weather Models and Deep Learning
We created our own weather forecasting models with existing data feeds and these models can forecast the micro-climatic conditions on a granular level. Thus, our deep learning algoritms trained by retrospective data can forecast the production accurately.
